Job opening: Database specialist for MS SQL server
Job description:
In this job you develop databases and manage databases technically. You design tables and views and views for the required functionality and write stored procedures in T-SQL with complex queries and business logic. You design and implement replicas with DTS packages between different systems. You take care of the performance of the stored procedures and the database server, and think along about the database server's infrastructure. Besides this you are a helpdesk for questions from customers and colleagues.
Demands
- You have successfully completed a relevant education at a higher level, a relevant Microsoft certificate (MCDBA) is a plus;
- You have multiple years of experience in the areas of database management and relation database with Microsoft SQL server 2000;
- You have the skills to analyze and process complex data structures and procedures;
- You work by plan and structured, you keep track of your work and keep your work insight able for your colleagues;
- You are used to working with a big amount of independence;
- You have good communicative skills;
- You are focused on result and customer satisfaction, accurate and like to work in a team;
- You have knowledge of the English language, knowledge of the German language is a plus.
Profile
You have a strong personality, are representative, stress proof, accurate and flexible and you know how to react fast at ad-hoc situations. You are looking for possible improvements which you (pro-active as you are) discuss with your project manager. A service minded attitude is of course a must for an Application Service provider.
